I am Trista, a ceramicist, film photographer, and traveller. I live in Salt Lake City, UT with my husband and two dogs.

As a kid, I thought the world was my canvas. I was often caught drawing on my blank bedroom walls, or anything else I could get my hands on. When I was 15, I took my first ceramics class. And although I didn't love it at first, over time my passion for ceramics started to bloom. After graduating high school in 2014, I didn't continue my ceramic endeavors. It wasn't until 2021, after watching the movie 'Ghost' with my husband, I was reminded of the love I once had for ceramics. Shortly after that, my husband gifted me my ceramic wheel and my passion for the craft was rekindled. One of my favorite aspects about ceramics is being able to put myself into each piece and share it with others.
